A Venue for K-Beauty's Future Strategy, the 2025 Hwahae Trend Seminar Successfully Held! Propelling Global Advancement! As if to prove the fervent enthusiasm for K-Beauty, the ‘2025 Hwahae Trend Seminar,’ hosted by Budview’s beauty platform Hwahae, concluded with great success, attracting a record-high approximately 1,800 industry professionals. Held on the 11th, the seminar served as a compass, guiding K-Beauty brands for a successful voyage in the rapidly changing global market. The seminar kicked off with insights into 2025 global beauty trends and overseas expansion strategies presented by Lee Hee-sun, Sales Head Manager at WGSN, a global trend analysis firm. Following this, Devon Abelman, CEO of a US beauty consulting firm and former digital editor at Allure Magazine, shared specific positioning strategies for K-Beauty brands to successfully establish themselves in the US market, garnering an enthusiastic response from attendees. Notably, the ‘KEY’ strategy for core consumer trends in 2025, proposed by Hwahae, garnered significant attention. Hwang In-geon, a data scientist at Hwahae, presented ‘Know-smetics’ (consumption based on expert knowledge), ‘Easy pick’ (intuitive product exploration), and ‘YOUnique’ (discovery of individual uniqueness) as key trends, illuminating new directions for the K-Beauty market. These insights will be covered in greater depth in the ‘2025 Hwahae Trend Report,’ to be published this month. In the seminar’s final session, Shin Ja-eun, Lead of Hwahae’s Ad Sales Part, vividly demonstrated how Hwahae’s extensive big data is utilized for K-Beauty market analysis. Specifically, a concrete roadmap was presented for indie brands to leverage Hwahae’s unique ranking system and differentiated content, such as cosmetic ingredient information, to enhance their domestic and international recognition and strengthen consumer touchpoints, receiving significant acclaim. Kim Kyung-il, CEO of Hwahae, emphasized that "the record-breaking registration for this seminar is proof of the expertise of Hwahae's data and its influence in the market," and pledged "unwavering support for the global growth of K-Beauty brands going forward." Meanwhile, Hwahae is also accelerating its expansion into the global market. After launching its English global web service in November last year, it achieved the remarkable feat of surpassing 100,000 monthly active users (MAU) in just two months. This month, with the release of its Japanese version, Hwahae plans to lay the groundwork for Japanese consumers to more easily access reliable K-Beauty information. Hwahae is expected to further solidify its position as a key partner for K-Beauty's global success.
