Digital healthcare company Hi has unveiled its senior healthcare service through Samsung Electronics' smart TV.
On the 6th (local time), Hi showcased the TV version of its cognitive health management service 'Samirang' at 'CES 2026' held in Las Vegas, USA.
The newly released 'Samirang TV version' is an adaptation of the existing mobile app service tailored for the Samsung smart TV environment. Considering older users, the interface (UI) has been designed to minimize keyboard input and is capable of being operated with a TV remote control by applying a split-screen layout to enhance screen readability.
Key features include simple cognitive status checks and training content for maintaining cognitive functions. This content was collaboratively planned and developed with the neurology department and brain science research institute of Ewha Mokdong Hospital.
Hi previously launched the mobile version of 'Samirang', which was selected as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service, and plans to expand the platform to TV in conjunction with this CES exhibition to explore market entry in global regions including the USA.
Kim Jin-woo, CEO of Hi, stated, "TV is the device seniors are most familiar with," and emphasized, "We focused on providing an environment where cognitive health can be managed naturally in the living space."
