Enterprise HR platform flex has launched the beta version of 'flex mini,' a customized employee management app for small store operators.
Optimized for SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) businesses such as restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and hair salons, this app differs from the existing flex, which was tailored for office workers. It is designed to easily use all functions on mobile, reflecting the characteristics of on-site employees.
From employee HR information to work schedules, GPS-based attendance records, real-time work status tracking, and automated payroll calculation, it significantly reduces inefficiencies and errors caused by manual processes. In particular, by updating complex labor standards act and tax laws, it legally assists with contract and payroll management according to various employment types and working hours, contributing to effectively preventing labor risks.
This carries significant social meaning by promoting the digital transformation of small business owners and self-employed individuals and supporting transparent HR management.
It is currently available for free download on the App Store, and flex plans to add core features such as electronic labor contracts based on user feedback during the beta period, with an official service launch scheduled for the second half of this year.
Jang Hae-nam, CEO of flex, pointed out that many employers and workers are in an HR management blind spot in an era of high self-employment rates and the spread of "N-jobbers." He emphasized that flex mini will be another step closer to flex's mission of becoming an "essential tool for 22 million workers in Korea."
Established in 2019, flex, as Korea's only SaaS-based all-in-one HR platform, continues to grow by expanding its service scope beyond existing HR and financial areas (expense management) to now include SOHO store management.
