Global AI startup Two Platforms is bringing a fresh wave to the AI market by officially launching its innovative inference-based generative AI model ‘SUTRA-R0’, which supports over 50 languages. Established in Silicon Valley in 2021 and operating from bases in Korea and India, Two Platforms began with the launch of its multilingual specialized generative AI model ‘SUTRA’ in March last year, expanding its lineup to include vision and voice models. Additionally, it gained widespread popularity with its AI social app ‘ZAPPY’, which has nearly 500,000 users, and actively assists businesses in their AI transformation based on its proprietary technology. Two Platforms' SUTRA model boasts excellent cost-efficiency thanks to its proprietary dual transformer architecture and a tokenizer that utilizes a multilingual dataset. It can operate on lower-spec GPUs and reduces token processing costs, thereby increasing AI accessibility. The newly introduced ‘SUTRA-R0’ possesses exceptional inference capabilities, capable of interpreting complex scenarios and solving multi-step problems. It is expected to drive innovation across a wide range of industries, from financial risk assessment to market trend analysis, medical data analysis, and customer service inquiry processing. Notably, in MMLU benchmark tests for Korean, as well as various other languages like Hindi and Gujarati, it demonstrated overwhelming performance, surpassing major competing models such as OpenAI o1-mini, DeepSeek-R1, and LLaMA 3.3 70B. Two Platforms recorded sales of $7 million (approximately 10 billion Korean Won) last year and aims for $20 million this year. Moving forward, it plans to continuously improve the SUTRA model lineup and is also preparing for the launch of its predictive model ‘SUTRA-P0’, which will cover areas such as industry trend prediction and anomaly detection. Pranav Mistry, CEO of Two Platforms, stated his ambition to "contribute to bridging the global AI utilization gap by providing the multilingual generative AI model SUTRA-R0, which possesses excellent inference capabilities, at a reasonable cost." The future of AI that Two Platforms will create is highly anticipated.
