DayOne Company, a leading adult education content provider, recorded a cumulative global revenue of 14.3 billion won in the third quarter of this year, breaking its all-time record. This is a 28% increase compared to the same period last year, and proves DayOne Company's global capabilities, having expanded into 8 countries worldwide.
The strong performance in the Japanese market is particularly notable. By September, it generated approximately 8.7 billion won in revenue, accounting for 61% of the total global revenue, and recorded an average monthly growth rate of 32% year-on-year. In Japan, high participation from MZ generations (18-34 years old), who prioritize quick career decisions and practical skill acquisition, drove sales growth. The United States and Taiwan also showed stable growth after the establishment of local subsidiaries, and Thailand, which launched its service in September, quickly established itself in the market, signaling a green light for expansion into the Southeast Asian market.
The core driver of DayOne Company's global growth is its vocational skills education platform, 'Coloso'. Visual-centric, intuitive content such as design, illustration, 3D, and video has low language barriers, leading to high demand regardless of the country. A lecture by Malaysian illustrator 'Nekojira' proved its popularity across borders. Coloso enhances brand recognition through collaborations with global masters such as Karim Rashid, one of the world's top three designers, and James Dyson, founder of Dyson, while in Japan, it is strengthening the competitiveness of its original content by employing local celebrities as instructors, including film director Hirokazu Kore-eda and Pokémon voice actor Rika Matsumoto.
In recognition of these achievements, DayOne Company recently accomplished the feat of simultaneously receiving the '10 Million Dollar Export Tower' and the 'Service Tower,' the highest honor in the service export sector, at the '62nd Trade Day Ceremony'. CEO Lee Kang-min stated, "This achievement is proof that DayOne Company's business model is fully viable in the global market," and revealed ambitions to advance the combination of technology and content to create a new standard for educational content that is universally applicable worldwide.
