The Banks Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs D.CAMP has finalized the selection of eight promising companies to participate in its innovation startup growth support program, 'Batch 5', revealing the next contenders in the IT service and solution sectors. The selected companies are Goi Funeral Research Institute, Rootrix, Violet Pay, Apollo Studio Korea, Ents, Impactive AI, Konstant, and Lemong. Each company is attracting market attention with its unique technology and business model. * **Goi Funeral Research Institute (CEO Song Seul-ong)** simplifies complex procedures with a platform that digitizes the entire funeral process. * **Rootrix (CEO Ahn Jeong-rok)** operates a platform that revolutionizes distribution in the landscaping industry by digitizing information on tree nurseries nationwide. * **Violet Pay (CEO Park Chan-soo)** provides 'point3', an account-based PG service characterized by a low 0.3% fee and fast settlements. * **Apollo Studio Korea (CEO Jo Sung-min)** is developing 'F-1', an AI game engine that automates everything from game planning to development using only natural language input. * **Ents (CEO Park Kwang-bin)**'s carbon accounting SaaS 'Enscope' supports companies in managing carbon emissions and responding to climate disclosures. * **Impactive AI (CEO Jung Doo-hee)** helps manufacturing and distribution companies with demand forecasting and inventory optimization through its deep learning-based 'Deepflow' solution. * **Konstant (CEO Jung Geun-sik)** operates 'Refilled', a personalized hair loss management brand using AI scalp scanning. * **Lemong (CEOs Kim Bo-hyeong, Lee Hee-yong)** provides an AI agent service for self-employed individuals, supporting review management and marketing for delivery/map apps. These companies will reside at D.CAMP Mapo Center for the next 18 months, receiving an optimal work environment. In addition to dedicated mentoring and participation in business strategy advancement programs, they will receive opportunities to participate in D.CAMP's flagship demo day, 'D.DAY', and become candidates for follow-up investment review through D.CAMP's own fund, receiving comprehensive growth support. In this judging process, leading venture capitalists (VCs) such as Kakao Ventures and Smilegate Investment participated, meticulously evaluating the potential and commercial viability of the business models. Nine top industry experts, including Kim Byeong-wan, CEO of Mosajain; Shin Jae-sik, CEO of Nest Company; and Yeom Jae-seung, Venture Partner at Sopung Ventures, will join the mentor group to lead the growth of the startups. D.CAMP recently held an orientation for the newly selected companies, sharing the program's operational direction and having a meaningful time sharing vivid experiences from senior entrepreneurs.
