Crosshub Wins Minister of SMEs and Startups Award at Startup Incubation Competition
Crosshub, a rising star in the global identity verification sector, has announced a series of notable achievements, demonstrating its unstoppable growth. On November 25th, the company proved its capabilities by clinching the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award at the '2025 Startup Infrastructure Integrated Performance Report,' co-hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development. This triumph led to winning the Grand Prize in the commercialization (early-stage) category of the nationwide startup incubation competition. Despite its short history, having been founded in 2024, Crosshub has stood out from the beginning, graduating from the Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center's preliminary startup package as a top-tier company. Notably, it was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' global corporate collaboration program 'Trust my Tech' and is now elevating its technological capabilities through collaboration with the French defense company Thales. After successfully completing Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development last year, Crosshub has been actively conducting market validation through collaborations with global companies starting this year. As a result of these efforts, actual services have commenced in some countries since the second half of the year, and it recently achieved the remarkable feat of winning the 'CES 2026 Innovation Award in the FinTech category,' receiving recognition for its potential in the global market. It is also accelerating its expansion in the domestic market. Recently, in partnership with the Gangwon Industry-Academy Convergence Institute, it passed the regulatory sandbox for 'D2-Long Stay' visa issuance, and plans to provide an innovative platform targeting approximately 260,000 international students residing in Korea starting next year. The fact that it passed the regulatory sandbox of four government ministries, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Justice, attests to the importance and reliability of this service. Lee Chang-woo, Crosshub Team Leader, expressed strong aspirations, stating, “This year, we were able to confirm tangible results by undertaking numerous support projects. Starting next year, we plan to focus on research and development (R&D) and expanding domestic services to emerge as a leader in the global identity verification market.” Crosshub is expected to open new horizons in the global identity verification market through its unique technological capabilities and continuous innovation.
