Creatrip Opens New Horizons for Korean Medical Tourism with Taiwan Medical Briefings! Success Proven by Overwhelming Conversion Rate
Inbound tourism platform Creatrip is drawing keen attention by presenting a new success formula in the Korean medical tourism market through medical briefings held locally in Taiwan. It has captivated the industry's attention by achieving a remarkable conversion rate for visits to Korea with a face-to-face consultation strategy that precisely targets the needs of local consumers.
The data analysis results from a total of 10 local medical briefings conducted by Creatrip across Taiwan from November 2023 to November 2024 were nothing short of astonishing. The average attendance rate reached 89%, and approximately 62% of attendees actually led to visits to Korea for medical services, achieving an overwhelming conversion rate.
The key to this success lay in the 'localized 1:1 face-to-face consultation' method. Professional medical staff from Korea directly visited major cities in Taiwan, such as Taipei and Taichung, to conduct in-depth one-on-one consultations with local consumers. Specialists from various medical fields, including ophthalmology, dentistry, and dermatology, participated, providing a one-stop service that handled everything from consultation to booking, playing a decisive role in alleviating local consumers' vague anxieties about Korean medical services and building trust.
In particular, approximately 90% of pre-registered attendees showed fervent interest by attending the briefings, and the primary users were found to be women in their 20s and 30s (over 80%) with high interest in Korean medical and beauty services. The briefing held in Taichung on the 21st of last month recorded a staggering 70% booking conversion rate, showing that its effectiveness intensified with each successive event.
Lim Hye-min, CEO of Creatrip, emphasized regarding this achievement, "The face-to-face consultations held locally proved to be the most powerful factor in fundamentally alleviating consumers' anxieties and influencing their final booking decisions." She added, "We plan to aggressively expand our briefing targets to English-speaking countries in the future and further advance our operational know-how for each medical treatment category to secure unparalleled competitiveness in the inbound medical tourism sector," signaling a leap into the global market. Creatrip is expected to leverage this success as a springboard to open new horizons for K-medical tourism.
