The era of rapidly grasping the core in a flood of video content has arrived. Catenoid, a video technology specialist company, is leading this change by newly introducing innovative artificial intelligence (AI)-based content analysis features on its online video platform 'Kollus'.
The 'AI Summary & Chapter' feature, officially launched on the 16th, is a solution that automatically analyzes and summarizes the main content of long videos and audio, and generates logical chapters. Combined with Kollus's existing 'AI Subtitle (STT, Speech-to-Text)' technology, it converts speech to text and then extracts key information through in-depth contextual analysis. By having the AI accurately identify topic transition points and segmenting chapters, viewers can quickly navigate to desired sections within vast video content and grasp the core content in advance.
The convenience for enterprise customers, i.e., administrators, has also been significantly enhanced. In the Kollus VOD console, they can directly review and edit AI-generated summaries and chapter titles, and freely adjust sections. The analyzed data can be downloaded as a CSV file, making it easy to utilize for various secondary content creation, such as lecture introduction materials, newsletters, and summary documents.
To commemorate the launch of this new feature, Catenoid is holding an exceptional promotion, offering the 'AI Summary & Chapter' feature and the 'AI Subtitle' feature each for up to 600 minutes per month, free of charge, until March 31, 2026.
Kim Hyung-seok, CEO of Catenoid, stated, "The importance of features that quickly grasp core content in a video-centric information acquisition environment is growing," emphasizing, "This feature will significantly reduce existing manual editing resources, improve viewer experience, and show high utility in various industries such as education and broadcasting." Kollus's AI-based features are expected to open new horizons for video content utilization.
