The local lifestyle community app Danggeun's convenient payment service 'Danggeun Pay' is set to significantly expand its offline merchant network. On the 5th, Danggeun announced a partnership with the store management platform company Payhere, stating that it will support Danggeun Pay payment services at over 80,000 stores nationwide that use the Payhere POS system.
With this partnership, Danggeun Pay users can now make payments not only for used goods transactions but also at offline stores such as cafes and restaurants that are part of the Payhere network. The payment method involves selecting 'Danggeun Pay' at the store and scanning a QR code generated on the spot.
This service integration is also linked to the merchant's 'Danggeun Business Profile' management feature. By linking Payhere POS with the Danggeun Business Profile, point accumulation occurs automatically during payment, and a notification message requesting customers to write a review is automatically sent immediately after the payment. The visit verification reviews written this way will be displayed on the 'Local Map' within the Danggeun app.
Danggeun has been expanding its service areas through various initiatives, including the launch of a partnership account with Hana Bank last year, integration for parcel reservations at convenience stores, and a business agreement with NH Nonghyup Bank.
A Danggeun representative stated, “Through this collaboration, we plan to strengthen the connection between local stores and users and enhance payment convenience.”
