The core of this collaboration is the full implementation of Kakao Healthcare's artificial intelligence (AI)-based blood sugar management solution, 'Pasta,' into Caring's senior housing facilities. Pasta, which has received software medical device approval, not only collects real-time blood glucose data through continuous glucose monitors (CGM) but also comprehensively analyzes individual residents' diet, exercise, and medication information. Based on this, AI proposes optimal health management guides, and professional medical staff will provide more sophisticated and personalized medical services using this data. Kim Tae-sung, CEO of Caring, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, "Digital healthcare solutions go beyond mere convenience; they are essential for seniors to actively manage their health and achieve well-aging." He continued, "Through the introduction of Pasta, we can systematically accumulate and analyze residents' health data, thereby efficiently providing preventive and proactive medical services," expressing his anticipation. The starting point is 'Caring Stay,' located in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. After initially applying the Pasta system here and verifying its effectiveness, the plan is to expand it to all of Caring's senior living facilities nationwide. Furthermore, they also announced their ambition to build an infrastructure where seniors can receive stable and professional health management anytime, anywhere by greatly improving healthcare accessibility through close cooperation with local medical institutions.
