Boosters, which appeared like a comet in the global commerce market, is capturing public attention with its overwhelming growth. In 2024, just three years after launching its brand business, Boosters achieved a surprising 72.8 billion KRW in sales, a 176% surge from the previous year. Operating profit also reached 9.1 billion KRW, proving solid profitability by continuing its profit streak for three consecutive years.
Boosters' brand business sales started at 11 billion KRW in 2022, rising steeply to 26.4 billion KRW in 2023, and then to 72.8 billion KRW in 2024. EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization), a barometer of profitability, also showed explosive growth during the same period, from 80 million KRW to 1.93 billion KRW, and then to 10.82 billion KRW, significantly boosting the company's value.
Behind this remarkable growth lies the 'selection and concentration' strategy, boldly pursued for a year and a half since the transition to the sole CEO system under Choi Yoon-ho (June 2023). This is the result of fundamentally improving the organization's constitution by streamlining inefficient business units and brands and focusing on core competencies. For example, by selling the pet brand 'Laughing Charlie,' resources were reallocated, and full efforts were dedicated to fostering core brands that would succeed in the global market.
Furthermore, enhanced global marketing and sales capabilities, expanded sales channels, and maximized operational efficiency through in-house system development have added wings to its growth.
CEO Choi Yoon-ho expressed a strong ambition to make the 2024 achievements "the inaugural year for 2025, which will create a new wave in the global e-commerce market." Boosters is solidifying its position as a global commerce company by showcasing innovative products through online channels worldwide. Their progression, extending beyond the domestic market to the entire world, is gaining increasing attention.
