Autonomous a2z Joins AI Future Car Alliance

Autonomous a2z, an autonomous driving solution company, is attracting attention as it has been selected as a key participating company in the 'AI Future Mobility Alliance,' which will lead innovation in future mobility in Korea. This consultative body, launched as part of the 'Industrial AI Transformation (M.AX) Alliance' led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aims to accelerate the artificial intelligence (AI) transformation across all domestic manufacturing industries, with a particular focus on building an autonomous driving-centric future mobility ecosystem. With leading domestic companies such as Hyundai Motor Company, HL Mando, Hyundai Mobis, and LG Electronics participating as anchor companies, the plan is to supply software-defined vehicle (SDV) platforms by 2028 and to focus on the mass production of end-to-end (E2E) autonomous driving technology by 2030. Autonomous a2z joined this alliance based on its unique technological capabilities across all areas of autonomous driving, including software, hardware, infrastructure, and control systems. Currently, the company is demonstrating tangible results, operating 62 autonomous vehicles and recording a cumulative driving distance of 740,000 km, and plans to deploy its self-developed Level 4 autonomous vehicle 'ROii' at the upcoming APEC 2025 venue. Active business expansion into overseas markets such as Singapore, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Japan is also a strength of Autonomous a2z. Han Jihyeong, CEO of Autonomous a2z, emphasized, "The autonomous driving sector is at the core of manufacturing AI transformation, where the organic connection between software technology and vehicles is essential," and expressed his ambition to actively contribute to the development and commercialization of future mobility technologies through close cooperation with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and relevant organizations. Through its participation in this alliance, Autonomous a2z is expected to play a pivotal role in enabling Korea to lead the global future mobility market.
