Artue, an AI-based art curation platform, has fully adopted the USDC stablecoin payment system, heralding a revolutionary change in the global art market. This system addresses barriers in cross-border payment environments, exchange rate volatility, and settlement delays, enabling collectors worldwide to trade artworks more securely and transparently.
Artue's new infrastructure, linked with the XPLA Vault Wallet based on the CONX mainnet, provides core capabilities essential for international transactions, such as real-time USDC settlement, blockchain-based transaction traceability, instant clearing, and enhanced exchange rate risk management. Artue plans to expand this stablecoin payment framework beyond art purchases to encompass a wide range of real-world asset (RWA)-based financial services, including art funds and Security Token Offerings (STOs).
Having pioneered the adoption of existing global payment methods such as PayPal, credit cards, and international bank transfers, Artue now meets institutional investor-level requirements, including NAV verification, custody frameworks, and regulatory-compliant settlement systems.
Habitus Associates, Artue's operator, emphasized that this payment infrastructure is a key driver for investor protection and market integrity in the global art industry, and stated that it will meet the expectations of regulated markets and accelerate the development of the RWA-based art finance ecosystem. The CONX Foundation also highly praised Artue's system as the first instance of introducing stablecoin payments for real-world art transactions, viewing it as a significant advancement that goes beyond the experimental stage to meet institutional requirements, and expressed anticipation for deep cooperation aligned with its 'Culture Fintech Mainnet' vision.
Artue recently gained attention by being invited to OpenAI DevDay, where it demonstrated an AI-based real-time conversational curation experience, and attracted additional investment from prominent investors such as SBVA and 500 Global. Currently, it is collaborating with major global institutions to promote international art fund STOs, accelerating its transformation into an AI-based art finance infrastructure.
