AI identity verification company Argos has released its annual service operation data for 2025. Argos Identity announced on the 6th that it had published a financial report analyzing global verification data from January 1 to December 31, 2025. According to the announcement, Argos processed identity verification traffic across a total of 179 countries and regions last year. The total number of verification submissions increased by 1,850% compared to the previous year, during which 117,000 attempts at ID fraud were detected. The system efficiency metric known as the 'verification automation rate' reached 94.47%. This indicates the proportion of verification requests that were processed automatically by AI without human intervention. The company noted that despite the increase in verification request volume, the rate of manual review (Pending) decreased by approximately 17% compared to the previous year. Compared to the first quarter of 2025, the verification submission throughput at the end of the year increased by about 19 times. Additionally, analysis of user age demographics revealed that the oldest user to complete verification through Argos solutions last year was 97 years old. An Argos representative stated, "We have advanced our automatic review logic in line with the increase in global traffic last year," and added, "In 2026, we plan to provide a verification environment capable of handling large-scale traffic through ongoing technological advancements."
