Ansys Korea, 'Startup MeetUp' Successfully Concludes… Strengthening Simulation-Based Innovation Ecosystem
Ansys Korea, a leader in engineering simulation, successfully held the 'Ansys Startup MeetUp' on the 21st at Entrebles in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, contributing to the revitalization of the domestic startup ecosystem. This meetup was a meaningful occasion prepared to share innovative cases and business know-how based on simulation technology, and to facilitate networking among startups to explore co-growth.
Over 50 startup representatives who are utilizing or considering adopting Ansys solutions participated, showing great interest. The event kicked off vibrantly with a welcome speech from Joo-il Park, Country Manager of Ansys Korea. Executive Director Tae-shin Kang left a deep impression by emphasizing Ansys' vision and its role in contributing to the development of domestic industry, under the theme 'The Core of Engineering Innovation: The Digital Manufacturing Ecosystem Created by Ansys'. Subsequently, professionals Taek-su Kim and Ga-hyung Lee introduced the 'Ansys Community,' presenting practical support measures that startups can gain within the Ansys ecosystem.
Particularly drawing the attention of participants were the sessions on government and private support programs and real-world application cases. Senior Deputy Director Seong-hyun Cho from the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED) provided detailed information on government support policies for startups, and CEO Hyo-seok Si of Nuvida unveiled the in-wheel motor development process utilizing simulation, showcasing the potential for technological innovation. Beom-sik Shin, Manager at LS Electric, presented a blueprint for the future engineering environment through 'Accelerating Startup Growth with Cloud and Ansys,' vividly conveying how crucial simulation technology can be for startup growth.
Deep insights into the importance of the startup community and leadership also followed. Jung-kyun Park, Team Leader at Korea Startup Forum, emphasized the synergy effects of close networks and collaborative activities among industries through his talk on 'Startup Community Strategy in the Deep Tech Era.' Professor Dae-seong Bae of Hanyang University provided time for reflection on the decision-making processes and desirable leadership that startup leaders face, with his lecture on 'Life and Management Philosophy for Startup CEOs.'
After all official sessions concluded, free networking continued, creating a vibrant space for exchange where participants deeply discussed business ideas, simulation utilization strategies, and potential partnerships. Practical information sharing occurred between companies that had already adopted Ansys solutions and those considering adoption, exploring possibilities for collaboration.
