Gyeonggi Content Agency (hereinafter GCA) successfully hosted the '2025 Gyeonggi Level-Up Demoday' on October 29. Under the slogan "Dynamic Delight Deal!", over 150 content startups dedicated to delivering joy and private investors gathered, making the venue vibrant.
Son Joo-eun, Chairman of Megastudy, emphasized the importance of challenging change and innovative entrepreneurship in his congratulatory speech, while writer Song Gil-young delivered a keynote speech on the topic of corporate strategy in the AI era.
This event served as a platform connecting over 70 investors from 'Gyeonggi Level-Up Invest Partners (G-VIP)' with approximately 70 promising content startups. In three sectors – 'LevelUP Game', 'LevelUP K-POP/Performance', and 'LevelUP AI Contents' – investment case presentations, IR pitching, and panel discussions with active investors were held, illuminating the trends of next-generation content industries such as AI, subculture, and IP from various angles.
On this day, GCA unveiled an AI video showcasing key achievements as of the end of September 2025 and announced core indicators such as the cumulative formation of 108 billion won in related funds, 593 investment consultations, and 41.27 billion won in investment attraction. Furthermore, GCA officially announced the achievement of 100 cumulative G-VIP member companies and the expansion of the investment ecosystem by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with 7 new organizations, including the Korea Angel Investment Association.
Notably, Superengine, a webtoon AI solution company, attracted 2 billion won in investment through Opportunity Fund No. 6, which reflects provincial financial resources. A ceremony was also held to commemorate investment attraction commitments totaling approximately 4.8 billion won from 13 content companies via GCA-related funds, drawing significant attention.
Tak Yong-seok, Director of GCA, emphasized, "We will further strive for policy support and infrastructure establishment for the sustainable growth of startups," and "We will be a strong pillar so that innovative ideas are not thwarted. We hope this Demoday serves as a milestone for a new leap towards 2026."
The 'Gyeonggi Level-Up Program' is a comprehensive support initiative that links the discovery, nurturing, and investment in promising companies in cooperation with private investors. This year, it actively supported strengthening the investment capabilities of content startups within the province by providing customized growth support and investment linkage opportunities for seed and pre-A stage companies.
