Seoul Fintech Startups 'Join Hands' with Global Financial Giants in Las Vegas…Opening Doors for Investment and Cooperation
Seoul fintech startups actively sought collaboration opportunities with global financial institutions and investment firms at 'Money20/20 USA', the world's largest fintech conference, making a strong presence. Seoul Fintech Lab announced that it participated in the event held in Las Vegas, USA last October, along with 10 Seoul-based fintech companies, and successfully conducted an accelerating program for entering the North American market.
This conference is North America's largest B2B platform representing the fintech, payments, and digital asset industries, and a key venue where core players from the global financial industry, including the US financial ecosystem, major European and Asian companies, global VCs, big tech, and regulatory bodies, gather together. Seoul fintech companies showcased their innovative technologies on this stage, receiving keen interest.
In particular, real estate fractional investment platform **Funble** achieved the remarkable feat of discussing attracting approximately $20 million in investment from Aramco, the world's largest energy company. It also held concrete discussions with major North American financial institutions such as Vast.Bank and USBC for partnerships and joint business collaborations.
**Aizen Global**, which possesses AI credit scoring technology, negotiated with global financial giants such as VISA, Bank of America (BOA), and Citi (CITI) for technology collaboration on issuing electric vehicle (EV) loan securitized tokens, thus establishing a bridgehead for targeting the North American and European markets.
**IZA**, which provides AI-based investment data solutions, explored the possibility of introducing its ETF-specialized LLM and RAG-based AI solutions to leading US securities firms such as J.P. Morgan and Bloomberg. It was reported that the review for applying the ETF analysis system for employees and clients is progressing positively.
Of course, these collaborations are still in the discussion or review stage, so actual contract signing or investment confirmation will require further observation. However, the 'Seoul Fintech Demoday' hosted by Seoul Fintech Lab was attended by a large number of major US investment institutions, including J.P. Morgan and Rebel Venture Fund, who showed deep interest in the participating companies' technologies and business models, and achieved encouraging results such as holding follow-up meetings with numerous companies.
Additionally, during the event, Seoul Fintech Lab and participating companies visited the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development to receive practical consultations on legal and tax benefits, and investment attraction support programs for companies entering the US market, thus solidifying their preparations for successful local settlement.
Choi Jin-won, Manager at Seoul Fintech Lab, emphasized, "Through our participation in Money20/20 USA, we clearly confirmed the possibility for Seoul fintech companies to create substantial opportunities in the global market," raising expectations for Seoul fintech's global leap.
The innovative companies that participated in this event included: 'Koofa' (AI-based investment content engine), 'IZA' (AI agent for financial institutions), 'AM Management' (API-based quant service), 'Moin' (overseas remittance service), 'BClabs' (automated investment platform), 'Aizen Global' (AI credit scoring), 'Funble' (asset tokenization), 'Seoul Labs' (blockchain mainnet), 'Merakiplace' (digital healthcare), and 'OneLine AI' (AI agent), standing out in various fields.
