YouTube Shopping, Zigzag Partnership

YouTube Shopping is partnering with fashion commerce platform Zigzag to provide creators with new monetization opportunities and significantly upgrade the shopping experience. Starting June 12th, YouTube creators will be able to directly tag Zigzag's diverse fashion items in their video content, introduce them to viewers, and earn commissions. YouTube Shopping, introduced in Korea in June 2024, is rapidly expanding its shopping ecosystem with over 950,000 product-tagged videos and more than 25,000 participating creators. It is gaining significant attention as any eligible creator can easily link products to their content to create new revenue streams. Following the expansion of product selection by adding Olive Young as a partner last month, YouTube Shopping will now explosively expand the product and brand diversity in the fashion category through Zigzag, a leading domestic style commerce platform operated by Kakao Style. In particular, aligning with Zigzag's biggest discount event of the first half, the '2025 Zigzagpot Summer Black Friday,' which begins on June 16th, thousands of discounted products are expected to be featured in YouTube creator content, allowing viewers to anticipate a more convenient and abundant shopping experience. A YouTube Shopping official expressed anticipation, stating that this collaboration with Zigzag will offer new monetization opportunities for creators and provide a highly satisfying integrated shopping experience for viewers. They added that YouTube Shopping will continue to strive through active partnerships to not only monetize creators but also to provide immersive shopping experiences to viewers worldwide.
