Yanolja achieved record-breaking performance in 2024, revolutionizing the global travel market with AI. It achieved an astonishing global gross merchandise volume (GMV) of 27 trillion won, a staggering 186% surge compared to the previous year, solidifying its position as an undisputed global travel tech leader. This signifies qualitative growth beyond mere revenue increase. Consolidated revenue grew by 22% to 924.5 billion won, and notably, operating profit surged by an astonishing 1,782% to 49.2 billion won, demonstrating remarkable potential for profitability improvement. Adjusted EBITDA also reached 114.7 billion won (a 68% increase), with the margin improving by 3 percentage points to 12%, establishing a stable financial foundation. The key driver of this growth was undeniably the 'Enterprise Solutions' segment. Revenue in this segment soared by 62% to 292.6 billion won, and operating profit showed an explosive growth of 454% to 57.6 billion won. Particularly, the fact that the proportion of AI data solution revenue surged from 14% at the beginning of the year to 25% by year-end clearly demonstrates Yanolja's innovation of 1.3 million global travel businesses and 21,000 sales channels through AI. Even amidst a challenging external environment, the 'Consumer Platform' demonstrated unwavering resilience. Despite adverse factors such as a strong dollar and the TMON/WeMakePrice incident, it recorded 671.2 billion won in revenue and 88.4 billion won in adjusted EBITDA, maintaining a solid margin of over 13% and continuing stable growth. Based on these achievements, Yanolja plans to further accelerate the advancement of its AI-based data solutions and its expansion into the global market. It is strengthening collaborations with global big tech companies such as Google Cloud, AWS, and OpenAI, and expanding its AI services with the goal of automating operations across the entire travel industry. The global gross merchandise volume, which Yanolja considers a key indicator, goes beyond a mere number; it symbolizes its reliability as a data platform that analyzes travel trends and provides personalized experiences through its unique data infrastructure and AI technology.
