Volta Corporation Rises as a New Powerhouse in the Electronic Tax Invoice Market Volta Corporation, a fintech company that operates 'Volta', an electronic tax invoice issuance and management service, has recorded explosive growth over the past year, drawing significant industry attention. On the 26th, the company announced remarkable achievements in terms of customer numbers and sales. The number of customers, which was approximately 400 at the end of July last year, surged by 1,150% to 5,000 at the same time this year. During the same period, annual sales increased by a remarkable fourfold, and the service retention rate also recorded a high figure of 98%, proving the strong market competitiveness of Volta's service. Volta's simplified tax invoice solution is establishing itself as an essential tool for companies struggling with complex accounting processes. In particular, leading domestic commerce companies and large distribution enterprises have adopted Volta's service, achieving a remarkable 90% reduction in tax invoice processing time. This is evaluated as having played a decisive role in overcoming the complex transaction structures and limitations of manual processing inherent in the e-commerce and platform industries. Volta's innovative solution is garnering significant interest across a wide range of sectors, including finance, which deals with large volumes of transaction data, and distribution, which operates complex supply chains, as well as large corporations, public institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and individual business owners. Jin Tae-yang, CTO of Volta Corporation, stated, "We focused on resolving the complexity of existing tax invoice systems and providing a user-friendly, intuitive experience." He added, "These user-centric improvement efforts are receiving widespread positive feedback, especially in the large enterprise market." Meanwhile, Volta continued its service enhancement by newly introducing an AI-based deposit matching feature last August. This feature analyzes various information such as date, counterparty, and memo to automatically recommend optimal deposit transactions, thereby efficiently automating accounts receivable management tasks, which previously involved heavy manual effort, and significantly improving the accuracy and speed of settlement operations. Volta Corporation plans to further strengthen its market penetration to secure large enterprise customers in the second half of this year and solidify its unique position in the domestic electronic tax invoice market.
