**VentureBlick Drives Global Success for K-Digital Healthcare Startups… Lays Groundwork for Market Establishment in Singapore**
VentureBlick, a global healthcare business solutions company, announced on the 15th that it has achieved remarkable results by supporting the successful entry of domestic digital healthcare startups into overseas markets. In particular, it is evaluated that they have established a bridgehead for successful settlement in the Singaporean market, a healthcare hub in Asia.
VentureBlick was selected as the implementing organization for the ‘2024 Global Expansion Growth Acceleration Program’ hosted by Seoul BioHub, providing close support to domestic innovative companies for approximately six months, from October last year to March this year. Various digital healthcare startups, including those specializing in medical artificial intelligence (AI), were able to strengthen their global competitiveness and build local networks through this program.
The core objective of the program was market entry into Singapore, the center of the Asian healthcare market, and comprehensive support was provided, ranging from global commercialization diagnostics to business advancement and in-depth local marketing. Three participating companies were selected, including AI-TRiCS with its AI solution for predicting patient deterioration, Medical AI, which developed an AI solution for electrocardiogram analysis and early diagnosis, and Monit with its smart diaper solution, thus laying important groundwork for overseas markets.
The participating companies completed thorough preliminary preparations in Korea, including market validation, expert consulting, and partner discovery. Subsequently, prior to their on-site visit to Singapore, they had initial meetings with key companies and institutions through online meetings. Notably, in February, they conducted individual business meetings and networking sessions with 7 to 8 partners per company over three days in Singapore, achieving tangible results.
As a result, numerous Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) were signed, and concrete business progress was made, including discussions on collaborative clinical research and partnership negotiations. Park Do-hyung, CEO of Monit, highly praised, "Thanks to VentureBlick's support, we achieved the remarkable feat of conducting a Proof of Concept (PoC) with Singapore's largest primary care network and nursing home chain," adding, "VentureBlick accurately identified Monit's strengths and needs, providing optimal partnering opportunities."
Lee Hee-yeol, CEO of VentureBlick, emphasized, "The biggest hurdle for overseas expansion is securing local business networks and partnerships. As the largest global expansion partner in APAC, VentureBlick provides an All-in-One global business solution to help domestic healthcare companies overcome these limitations and quickly establish themselves in overseas markets."
Headquartered in Singapore, VentureBlick operates branches and legal entities in Korea, Germany, India, China, and other locations, providing services that encompass global expansion strategy consulting, overseas market validation and due diligence, tech scouting, and acceleration programs, all based on a network of over 6,500 healthcare professionals in more than 60 countries worldwide. VentureBlick plans to continue serving as a strong facilitator for the successful overseas scale-up of domestic healthcare startups.
