Venture Association Announces 12 Venture Aces to Lead in 2025
The brightest stars poised to lead Korea's venture ecosystem have been unveiled. The Korea Venture Business Association (KOVA) announced the final selection of 12 companies for '2025 Venture Ace,' setting a new milestone for innovation and growth. 'Venture Ace,' the association's flagship program for selecting the best ventures, underwent a complete system renewal this year, acquiring a more rigorous and prestigious symbolic meaning. By significantly reducing the selection scale compared to previous years, it elevated the honor of being recognized as the 'best of the best,' focusing on three core areas—technological innovation, global expansion, and job creation—and selecting only 12 companies to prove their excellence. Specifically, 6 companies were named in the technological innovation category, 4 in the global expansion category, and 2 in the job creation category. Having passed rigorous hurdles of document and comprehensive evaluations amidst fierce competition involving a total of 135 companies, these selected enterprises have already proven their exceptional capabilities. Beyond a mere selection plaque and certification mark, the selected companies will receive practical and extensive follow-up support, including in-depth feature article coverage through the media, opportunities to participate in PR-DAY, and linkage with KOVA's robust support programs for finance, global expansion, and talent recruitment. This will serve as a solid foundation for the companies' continuous growth and market expansion. Lee Jung-min, Secretary-General of the Korea Venture Business Association, expressed high expectations, calling the selected companies "key players who will lead the future of Korea's venture ecosystem with outstanding technology and innovative business models in their respective fields." He promised that the association would concentrate all its capabilities to provide unreserved support, enabling these companies to soar beyond the domestic market onto the global stage, brightly envisioning a future where 'Venture Ace' companies transform into global unicorns.
