Korea Venture Business Association Officially Launches 'HR Bridge', an Innovative Platform to Solve AI and IT Talent Shortages A groundbreaking step has been taken to secure talent, a key driver of Korea's venture ecosystem. The Korea Venture Business Association (KOVA) has officially launched 'HR Bridge', a customized recruitment matching service that aims to resolve the chronic talent shortage in the AI and IT sectors and provide quality employment opportunities for young job seekers. This innovative platform is highly anticipated to directly connect venture companies with skilled talent through comprehensive cooperation with leading domestic IT education institutions. For the launch of 'HR Bridge', the Korea Venture Business Association has established a strong partnership with a total of eight institutions by adding three new ones – Grepp, Team Sparta, and Bit Computer – to its existing five partner institutions. These leading educational institutions, including Multicampus, Like Lion, Elice, Fast Campus, and Mega Career Lab, will now provide job-seeking information for IT developer bootcamp graduates in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software (SW) to the 'HR Bridge' platform. They will also actively participate in promoting participating venture companies, thereby creating synergy. 'HR Bridge' goes beyond simply connecting talent with companies. For venture companies, it will dramatically reduce the time and cost burden incurred during the recruitment process by recommending skilled IT talent in a timely manner. At the same time, for young job seekers, it will open wide the door to employment at venture companies where they can thrive at the forefront of the rapidly changing IT industry, and is expected to significantly contribute to the creation of youth employment, particularly through IT developer-focused connections. The Korea Venture Business Association has already accumulated rich experience and know-how in talent development and recruitment linkage, having supported the recruitment of 2,012 individuals and successfully conducted competency-building training for 608 incumbent workers this year alone. The launch of 'HR Bridge' is the result of further systematizing and advancing the association's talent support activities, and is evaluated as a strategic move for the sustainable growth of the venture ecosystem. Moving forward, the association plans to gradually expand the scope of its services beyond IT job categories to various other job categories, and present comprehensive solutions for talent issues faced by all venture companies. Lee Jung-min, Secretary-General of the Korea Venture Business Association, stated, "HR Bridge is a customized service that will quench the thirst of venture companies suffering from talent shortages." He emphasized, "We will build a robust talent ecosystem where educational institutions, companies, and job seekers can mutually benefit and grow together." This demonstrates the association's strong commitment to a healthy future where venture companies grow together with talent.
