Upbit has solidified its position as the top exchange in Korea, ranking 1st domestically and 14th globally in the latest 'Global Cryptocurrency Exchange Ranking' published by CoinDesk Data (formerly CCData), a UK-based virtual asset data analysis platform.
This evaluation covered 87 virtual asset exchanges worldwide and was conducted using CoinDesk Data's proprietary analysis model. Eight key indicators were deeply evaluated: Know Your Customer (KYC) capabilities, regulatory compliance, data provision, security capabilities, team capabilities, negative trends, market quality, and transparency.
Upbit received consistently positive scores across all evaluation categories, earning a total score of 70 points (out of 100). It was particularly highly evaluated for its outstanding competitiveness in the 'Market Quality' section, which encompasses liquidity and trading volume.
Lee Seok-woo, CEO of Dunamu, expressed his determination to build on this achievement by continuously dedicating efforts to improving service quality, strengthening security, and protecting investors, thereby advancing to become a globally recognized leading exchange both domestically and internationally.
Meanwhile, Binance claimed the global top spot in this evaluation with a total score of 90 points, and these results were announced on the 8th.
