Turing GPAI Sweeps Harvard & MIT, Sparks Buzz at 8 Universities; US Launch Imminent
Turing, a developer of inference AI agents, has announced GPAI, its specialized STEM AI agent's entry into the US market and the launch of its global mobile app, thus opening a new chapter in innovative STEM education. Turing, having secured its second overseas foothold after success in the Indian market, stated that GPAI is creating a sensation on Ivy League campuses in the Eastern US. GPAI, rapidly spreading by word-of-mouth among students at prestigious universities like Harvard, Yale, and MIT, is an AI learning solution optimized for the STEM field. With core functions such as an AI solver, AI cheat sheet, and AI note-taker, it supports the entire learning process from assignments to exams and class notes. Notably, it uniquely differentiates itself in visual data interpretation ability and accuracy, achieved by analyzing the learning patterns of US university students. Turing plans to expand its ambassador program and experiential opportunities for STEM majors, in conjunction with US STEM talent development policies (CIP codes, OPT). The GPAI mobile app, launched simultaneously, significantly enhances global accessibility. With its intuitive interface and push notifications, it is also expected to contribute to bridging the educational gap in developing countries. It will also enter the South Korean and Japanese markets in October, providing customized services based on localization know-how accumulated in India and the US. Turing plans to evolve GPAI beyond a simple learning tool into a powerful research tool by adding AI-based engineering simulation and modeling capabilities. Currently, with 40 patent applications and registrations underway, Turing, which was named among the top 10 Korean startups selected by OpenAI in 2023, is gaining recognition for its technological prowess. Choi Min-kyu, CEO of Turing, expressed his ambition to "firmly establish GPAI as a leading STEM AI agent and drive changes in the global STEM learning and research ecosystem."
