Trustay Wins Minister of Interior and Safety Award at 2025 Urban Innovation Awards

Innovative residential platform company Trustay was honored with the Minister of Interior and Safety Award in the Future City category at the '2025 Korea Urban and Regional Innovation Grand Prize Industrial Expo'. This is a result of the high evaluation of the unique model of Trustay's presented complex-based residential platform 'Knocktown' and the 'Knockplace' service, which connects local small business owners through it. In particular, the implementation of a system that can be expanded into a city-unit smart city by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technology attracted the attention of the judges. This awards ceremony, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Interior and Safety, took place concurrently with the expo's opening ceremony, further enhancing its prestige. Trustay CEO Lee Seung-oh stated his aspirations regarding this award, saying, “It is a splendid achievement that our efforts in digital transformation (DX) of residential environments and the construction of smart cities based on living areas have been recognized,” and added, “Going forward, as a core platform connecting residents and local communities, we will accelerate the implementation of AI-based future cities.” This expo, which runs for four days in the Jeongra District of Samcheok City, marks its 7th anniversary this year and is a large-scale event with a total of 123 organizations and companies participating, including 77 local governments and public institutions nationwide, and 46 private companies. Various international conferences and seminars related to urban and regional innovation, such as smart cities and urban safety, are also being held concurrently, making it a meaningful occasion for exploring the direction of future cities.
