Global luxury platform Trenbe has surpassed its break-even point (BEP) for two consecutive months, entering into profitable management. Notably, even in April, a low season for the luxury industry, it recorded operating profit similar to the previous month, achieving a solid turnaround based on performance that has steeply improved since the fourth quarter of last year. The key drivers behind this shift to profitability are the revitalization of its pre-owned luxury business and successful expansion into the global market. To enhance the trustworthiness of pre-owned luxury transactions, Trenbe established the Korea Genuine Appraisal Center, the largest of its kind in Korea. Through collaboration between professional appraisers and its data-driven AI system ‘Mars AI,’ it maximizes appraisal accuracy and efficiency, creating an environment where consumers can confidently trade luxury goods, thereby broadening the base of the pre-owned luxury market. Furthermore, based on its experience of directly operating overseas branches and logistics centers in major luxury shopping hubs like the United States and Japan, it was able to swiftly establish its proprietary pre-owned business system in the global market. This extensive global network has become a crucial foundation for its profitable management. Trenbe plans to continue its current profitable trend and strengthen its position as a global platform connecting customers worldwide with pre-owned luxury goods, beyond domestic competition. To this end, it is currently discussing B2B supply expansion agreements with various companies, expanding its product categories to include watches, jewelry, and K-beauty, and plans to diversify its sales channels beyond the United States to include the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Furthermore, Trenbe will continuously introduce innovative technology-based new services to further grow its pre-owned business. Key examples include a C2B auction service, a real-time video appraisal service, and SaaS (Software as a Service) exclusively for B2B resellers, all of which are being prepared. A Trenbe official stated, "Our three-pronged triangular business structure — new products, pre-owned, and global — is yielding tangible results. By successfully expanding our pre-owned and global businesses with innovative technology and services, and by strategically pursuing new business models, we will definitely achieve our profitability target for this year."
