Tessoloh, a company specializing in robot grippers, has seen its 'Humanoid Multi-Joint Robot Hand DG-5F' win the prestigious 'Top 10 Machine Technologies of 2025 in Korea,' the nation's most authoritative award for mechanical technology. This award, hosted by the Federation of Korean Mechanical Engineering Societies, recognizes outstanding domestic technologies by comprehensively evaluating their innovativeness, technical difficulty, and industrial contribution. Notably, Tessoloh's submission, recommended by the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH), was recognized for its technical completeness and excellent industrial application performance in the field of humanoid robot components.
Tessoloh's DG-5F is an innovative robot hand that precisely replicates a human hand with five fingers and a total of 20 active joints (20-DOF). This robot hand can skillfully grasp various objects regardless of their shape or texture, and perfectly perform high-difficulty tasks such as assembly, transfer, and manipulation. Each joint integrates a motor, driver, encoder, and reducer into a single module, maximizing manufacturing process efficiency and significantly improving maintenance. It boasts top-tier performance required in industrial settings, including a repeat accuracy of 0.1° and joint speed of 75 rpm.
Built upon this robust mechanical structure, Tessoloh has integrated cutting-edge control technologies such as high-speed multi-drop communication protocols, in-hand manipulation, and force-based grasping algorithms. As a result, the DG-5F is expanding its application range not only for assembly, packaging, and sorting tasks in manufacturing and logistics processes, but also as a core research platform for AI companies to collect human behavior data.
Tessoloh has successfully established a mass production system for the DG-5F and is actively expanding its supply to world-leading research institutions like Stanford University, ETH Zurich, and KAIST, as well as global manufacturing companies in key industries such as automotive, electronics, and logistics.
This selection as one of the 'Top 10 Machine Technologies of the Year in Korea' will be a crucial turning point for Tessoloh to lead the global standardization of Korean-style multi-joint robot hands and ultimately emerge as an unrivaled robot hand platform company in the fields of humanoid robotics and manual task automation.
