## Vigloo Changes the Game for Short Drama Production with AI Technology!
Vigloo, a short drama platform operated by global content platform Spoonlabs, has finally begun to fully adopt AI-based production technology, expanding the horizons of creation. Starting this August, original short drama series born from AI will be sequentially released.
Vigloo's newly introduced AI production support system is truly innovative. Difficult scenes, which were previously impossible without massive budgets costing hundreds of millions of won, can now be easily realized with AI-based visual effects and synthesis technology. From imagining a motorcycle speeding down a broken road to grand medieval fantasy backgrounds, these can now be vividly produced without actual sets or expensive special shoots.
Until now, the short drama market, which focused on the romance genre due to limitations in production costs and technology, has now seized a golden opportunity to greatly expand into an infinite world of imagination, including SF, fantasy, and action. In particular, the burden of high-cost special effects and set production will be significantly reduced, allowing creators to unleash their ideas in a much freer and richer environment.
To lead these changes, Vigloo has established a dedicated AI Task Force (TF) under the leadership of CEO Choi Hyuk-jae. The plan is to build a comprehensive AI support system for creators, covering not only key stages of the production process but also translation and dubbing for global viewers, marketing video production using viewership data, and personalized recommendation systems.
Vigloo has an ambitious goal of leading a new paradigm in the short drama production market by sequentially introducing original short drama series utilizing AI technology, starting this August, and through various genres.
Choi Hyuk-jae, CEO of Spoonlabs, expressed strong confidence, stating, "Our goal is to lower the barrier to creation with AI technology, creating a short drama production environment where more creators can freely challenge various genres and productions," adding, "I am confident that the AI short dramas to be released this year will soon become the new industry standard."
For reference, since its launch in July last year, Vigloo has already firmly established itself on the global stage by serving over 300 diverse short dramas, approximately 2 minutes in length, across genres like romance, thriller, comedy, and variety shows, in 8 languages worldwide.
