The Seoul Business Agency (SBA) has officially launched a special community, the ‘SBA Communication Club (Com:Cl),’ to support the continuous growth of outstanding companies and provide a platform for strong networking. This is an innovative platform that helps companies achieve brilliant results through SBA support programs to expand their brand value and collaborate with each other to create greater synergy.
‘Com:Cl’ goes beyond simple information sharing. Participating companies can effectively promote their achievements and meet directly with C-Level leaders from various fields such as digital technology, healthcare, and lifestyle to explore business collaboration opportunities. High-growth potential companies that have participated in SBA support programs within the last three years and achieved cumulative sales or investment performance of over 1 billion KRW can knock on the doors of this club, and more than 60 companies have already joined with keen interest.
On August 28, the first networking program held at Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok was truly filled with enthusiasm. With representatives and executives from over 40 companies in attendance, Lee Ju-yeon, Head of SBA Communication Division, introduced a success story where a chance encounter led to a new product launch, emphasizing the potential for collaboration. Following this, Professor Hong Sung-tae's branding lecture provided valuable insights into establishing B2B marketing strategies. In particular, participating companies actively engaged in communication by proposing collaboration ideas on the spot.
SBA plans to offer a wider range of benefits to ‘Com:Cl’ members. It will strengthen CEO networking, including regular meetups for C-Level executives and business briefings, support comprehensive corporate promotion through press releases, broadcast coverage, and video production, and promptly provide diverse business information from SBA.
In fact, SBA has made exceptional efforts to promote the brands of outstanding companies. Beyond informing about companies' technology and vision through collaborations with major media, it also conveyed their hidden stories via social media. In particular, F&B collaboration campaigns designed to approach citizens in a friendly manner achieved great success. In 2023, ‘SBA Burger’ was officially launched with Bas Burger after overcoming a competition ratio of 621:1, and this year, the ‘SBA Tteokbokki 3-item set’ was introduced. Furthermore, through the ‘Chicken Run’ campaign, it visited Seoul startups directly to offer support and capture vivid stories from the field.
Head Lee Ju-yeon stated, "We hope for diverse cross-sector collaborations and synergies to emerge among participating companies in the community," and affirmed that SBA will continue to expand this community, serving as a reliable helper for companies to gain wings of growth and soar higher. ‘Com:Cl’ will become a core hub where Seoul's outstanding companies grow together.
