Samsung C&T Kicks Off 6 Teams for '2025 FutureScape' Pilot Program

Samsung C&T Engineering & Construction Group successfully held the kick-off day for the Proof-of-Concept (PoC) track of its open innovation program '2025 FutureScape', signaling full-scale collaboration with startups to envision an innovative future. Hosted by Samsung C&T and co-organized by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), the program operates with two tracks: the 'PoC Track', which aims for actual business proof-of-concept (PoC), and the 'Future Track', which focuses on co-developing collaboration models with high-potential early-stage startups. The kick-off event, held on the 8th, saw 6 carefully selected PoC track startups participate, spanning various fields such as smart residential complexes, wellness solutions, senior services, climate change response, next-generation edutech, and construction technology. Together with Samsung C&T representatives, they presented the goals and detailed plans for each project, taking the first step towards collaboration. The 6 selected startups are as follows: * **Life on Korea:** Innovates customer-centric interior design experiences with its 3D-VR based 'Room by Room' solution. * **Glorang:** An edutech company that helps learners discover their potential through its online live education platform and 'PSYT' psychological testing service. * **Easytask:** Leads flexible hourly work connections with its AI-based freelance matching platform 'Irumi'. * **HAII:** Opens new horizons in healthcare by obtaining MFDS approval for its generalized anxiety disorder digital therapeutic using AI-based digital biomarker technology. * **HILOCAL:** Provides a customized learning solution that offers industrial safety and job training to foreign workers in their native language through an AI voice tutor. * **Pong:** Presents a new alternative for mental wellness services through 'Mungkle', an empathetic early psychological counseling solution based on emotion recognition AI. The results of the innovative PoC projects, born from the collaboration between these startups and Samsung C&T, are scheduled to be unveiled at the Demo Day to be held in October. Through this collaboration, Samsung C&T plans to fully support the startups by providing business cooperation opportunities, expert consulting, and acceleration, to ensure their technologies drive changes in existing businesses and expand into joint business models.
