Samchully & The Invention Lab Hold Successful Startup Discovery Demo Day
**Innovation and Growth, ‘Samchully S-Together’ Demo Day Concludes Successfully** On the 30th of last month, Samchully Motors Connected Center in Gunpo, Gyeonggi, was filled with ardent passion for future innovation. The highly anticipated demo day of ‘Samchully S-Together,’ a startup discovery program co-planned by Samchully and early-stage investment specialist The Invention Lab, was successfully held. This event transcended a mere competition, adding significance as a platform for investment-linked open innovation where large corporations and promising startups meet to create synergy. A judging panel comprised of Samchully Group executives, employees, and external experts graced the event, and it was shared via YouTube live stream with all group employees, further amplifying the event's reach. This year, the S-Together program focused on key sectors poised for future growth, such as Climate Tech (new energy/environment), Deep Tech, and Food Tech. Approximately 200 companies applied, demonstrating significant interest, and after intense networking days, document reviews, and in-person interviews, only six teams had the honor of taking the demo day stage. The startups participating in the demo day presented IR pitches showcasing their innovative visions and technological capabilities, capturing the judges' attention. Furthermore, at the booths set up on-site, each company demonstrated its unique products and services, fully displaying their potential. After judging conducted under four strict criteria—business viability, marketability, technological capability, and execution capability—the honorable award winners were selected. The Grand Prize honor went to Banf, while ABR received the Gold Prize, and Solarize received the Silver Prize. Plasiccle, Synstarr Presents, and Korea Deep Learning jointly received the Bronze Prize, recognizing their innovative ideas. A total of 130 million won in prize money was awarded, laying a strong foundation for the future growth of the winning companies. Samchully and The Invention Lab plan to proceed with selective investments after further reviewing the promising startups discovered at this demo day. Kim Jin-young, CEO of The Invention Lab, emphasized, “This program was a meaningful time to verify the technological capabilities and market potential of startups and explore strategic growth possibilities with Samchully,” adding, “We will continue to provide opportunities for early-stage startups to collaborate with large corporations.” ‘Samchully S-Together’ promised that beyond merely selecting excellent companies, Samchully and The Invention Lab would actively provide unwavering support to enable the selected companies to achieve actual market entry and business expansion. This demo day is highly anticipated to inject new vitality into the innovative startup ecosystem and become a model case for win-win cooperation between large corporations and startups.
