**Proving Super-Gap Technological Prowess! AI Machine Vision Innovator SAIGE Selected for 'DIPS 1000+', Set to Lead Manufacturing Quality Innovation**
SAIGE, a leader in the industry-specialized AI machine vision sector, has once again proven its technological prowess and market potential by being finally selected for the 'AI·Big Data' sector of the '2025 Super-Gap Startup 1000+ Project (DIPS 1000+)', organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development. Through this selection, SAIGE plans to further accelerate the advancement of its AI models and integrated equipment management solutions, which are set to revolutionize quality management in manufacturing production sites.
The DIPS 1000+ project is a national-level key nurturing program designed to identify deep-tech startups with unique technological superiority and support their global growth. It targets companies established within 10 years that are leading innovation in 10 super-gap technology fields such as Big Data·AI, System Semiconductors, and Bio-Health. Selected companies receive comprehensive support over three years, including startup commercialization funds, investment linkage, technology commercialization, and open innovation. In particular, after the support period ends, the top 10% of companies are granted the opportunity to be linked with the 'Beyond DIPS' follow-up program, aiding their continuous growth.
SAIGE is changing the game by introducing 'SAIGE VISION', an innovative deep learning-based AI machine vision software, in the field of manufacturing exterior inspection, where traditional visual inspection or rule-based algorithms had clear limitations. In particular, its unique technology, which accurately identifies even subtle and qualitative defects such as scratches, dents, and stains with high-precision AI, is leading to strong interest from major domestic and international corporations. Leading companies in various industrial sectors, including major domestic secondary battery manufacturers such as Samsung SDI, LG Energy Solution, and SK On, as well as LS Cable & System, Hanwha Solutions, and Daeduck Electronics, are adopting SAIGE's solutions in their actual production lines, proving their effectiveness.
This technological prowess and market competitiveness were clearly confirmed in the successful Series B investment of 15.5 billion KRW secured in 2024. Beyond simple inspection automation, SAIGE is leading the comprehensive implementation of smart factories by building a broad portfolio of AI-based solutions that solve various challenges in manufacturing sites, such as the process monitoring solution 'SAIGE VIMS' and the safety monitoring solution 'SAIGE SAFETY'.
Hong Young-seok, CEO of SAIGE, stated, "This selection for the Super-Gap Project is a significant result, nationally recognizing SAIGE VISION's unique technological prowess and market validation," and expressed his ambition, "We will go beyond simple inspection automation and leap forward as an integrated AI platform that leads quality innovation to change the paradigm of manufacturing." Leveraging this DIPS project as a stepping stone, SAIGE plans to accelerate next-generation technological innovation, including the expansion of integrated inspection equipment operation solutions, 3D inspection models, and the development of quality improvement AI agents, thereby firmly maintaining its leadership in the global AI machine vision market.
