AI-based able-tech company RootFinders participated in 'CSUN Assistive Technology Conference 2025', the world's largest accessibility technology conference, officially entering overseas markets and expanding its global cooperation network. At this event, held in Anaheim, California, USA from March 11th to 14th, RootFinders achieved the result of discussing technological collaboration with numerous global companies and institutions.
RootFinders, invited to participate in this conference hosted by the Center on Disabilities at California State University, Northridge, showcased 'EasyPlus', an AI-based content platform exclusively for the visually impaired, scheduled for official launch in the second half of the year, to local partners. EasyPlus is a multimedia platform that innovatively improves content accessibility for the visually impaired using AI technology, providing various content such as news, YouTube, books, and radio, primarily voice-based, according to individual user interests.
During the conference, RootFinders held in-depth discussions on content entry and technological cooperation with Innosearch AI, an accessibility-focused commerce operator, and TouchPulse, a global navigation technology startup, among others. Furthermore, they explored specific cooperation opportunities, such as discussing joint research plans with CodeFactory, a voice technology specialist, to advance EasyPlus's functionalities. These discussions generated tangible results, leading to proposals for PoC (Proof of Concept)-based demonstration projects.
Notably, RootFinders attracted significant attention by receiving official invitations to major events and demo days from global associations for the visually impaired in countries like the United States and France. This signifies that EasyPlus has received international recognition for its potential as a platform that can significantly contribute to improving the quality of life for the visually impaired, beyond mere technological completeness.
Building on this international network, RootFinders plans to actively pursue bridge investment to accelerate the successful launch of its proprietary services and its entry into the global market. Kim Jong-guk, CEO of RootFinders, stated, “Following our participation in CES 2025, the invitation to CSUN AT 2025 makes us realize that RootFinders' technology and platform are leading to concrete collaboration opportunities on the global stage.” He added, “Moving forward, we will continue to lead in building a content ecosystem for the visually impaired worldwide and grow into a company that spearheads the global accessibility market.”
