Ridi, a global content powerhouse, has been named for the second consecutive year in the 'TSE Asia Startup Hub,' organized by the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), once again proving its overwhelming presence and future growth potential in the Japanese market.
The 'TSE Asia Startup Hub' is a key program that supports promising Asian companies in not only expanding their business within the Japanese market but also ultimately pursuing a listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange through strategic alliances with local companies. This year, 20 startups from 7 countries were selected, and Ridi's selection for the second consecutive year is a remarkable achievement that clearly demonstrates its status as a global content company and its successful establishment in the Japanese market.
Ridi has already showcased its strength by successfully entering the Japanese webtoon market based on its unique original IPs. Furthermore, by recently launching 'Kanta,' a global short-form drama platform, it is further expanding the scope of its content business in Japan. Building on its selection for the 'TSE Asia Startup Hub,' Ridi plans to further strengthen partnerships with local Japanese companies and accelerate its efforts to capture the short-form drama market, centering on 'Kanta.'
Bae Ki-sik, CEO of Ridi, expressed his thoughts, stating, "The support from the 'TSE Asia Startup Hub' has been a great help in successfully establishing ourselves in the Japanese content market," and "being selected for the second consecutive year is very meaningful." He further declared his bold ambition, saying, "Moving forward, Ridi will continue to do its best to further expand the influence of K-content in Japan and grow into a platform that leads global K-culture."
