Realworld Joins AWS Generative AI Accelerator for Global Leap
Realworld, a physical AI company researching sophisticated robot manipulation technology at a human level, has proudly been named among the participants in the 3rd cohort of the '2025 AWS Generative AI Accelerator' program, hosted by global IT giant AWS (Amazon Web Services), drawing attention from around the world. This program focuses on discovering and nurturing promising startups worldwide that have the potential to solve complex industrial challenges with generative AI. Selected companies will receive comprehensive support, including AWS credits, expert mentoring, and cutting-edge learning resources, to strengthen their AI and Machine Learning (ML) technological capabilities and lay the groundwork for business expansion. In this program, where only 40 startups were selected out of thousands of applicants, Realworld was named one of only two Korean companies, receiving global recognition for its technology and growth potential. Through this selection, Realworld plans to further accelerate the development and expansion of 'RLDX,' the industry's first '5-Finger Dexterity Foundation Model.' RLDX is an innovative model that imbues robots with human-like delicate dexterity and precision, enabling them to perform high-difficulty manipulation tasks in complex real-world environments. Learned from high-precision data accumulated in factories, logistics hubs, and service environments, RLDX implements truly intelligent manipulation capabilities through a unique architecture that integrates vision, proprioception, and touch. AWS's powerful computing and AI infrastructure, along with expert mentorship, will significantly boost the learning speed of the RLDX model and maximize 'Sim-to-Real' transfer efficiency. Building on this, Realworld has set ambitious goals to expand its innovative business model, 'Labor-as-a-Service,' worldwide. Ryu Jung-hee, CEO of Realworld, stated, "Our selection for the AWS Generative AI Accelerator proves the unparalleled global competitiveness of the Robot Foundation Model (RFM) that Realworld is building." He added, "With AWS's full support, by rapidly expanding RLDX and shortening its development cycle, we will accelerate the era of humanoid-based automation across the manufacturing and logistics industries." The 40 selected startups will gain a special opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions to global investors and AWS leadership at 'AWS re:Invent 2025' in Las Vegas, USA, this December. Sherry Karamardian, General Manager of AWS North America Startups, emphasized, "Through this program, AWS will actively support innovative startups to achieve remarkable growth and make a tangible, positive impact on customers across various industries."
