Postmath, which operates the AI math education platform 'SuHakBiSeo,' recorded sales of 1.7 billion KRW in the first half of 2025 alone, achieving an astonishing growth rate of 100% compared to the same period last year. This figure nearly reaches 70% of last year's annual sales of 2.4 billion KRW, making it highly likely to surpass 5 billion KRW in annual sales this year.
This remarkable growth of Postmath stems from the continuous innovation of 'SuHakBiSeo.' In the first half of this year alone, four new services were launched, including '1-second DB conversion,' 'DB Lite,' 'Web POSTGEO,' and 'Math B Bookstore,' expanding the user experience. Furthermore, the math problem database, which stood at 1 million items at the end of last year, surged to 2 million in just six months, establishing it as the largest content platform in Korea.
Technological innovation is also a key driver of growth. Beyond its self-developed math-specific OCR, the company has set new standards in the math content creation market by developing AI-based automatic image generation technology and automatic number variation problem creation features. Such technological advancements are the synergistic result of combining a vast proprietary database of 2 million items with the latest Large Language Model (LLM) technology.
In the second half of the year, the company plans to engage users with an even wider range of services. For the first time in Korea, a nationwide 'Special Hall for Internal Exam Preparation' will open in September, offering lectures by regional star instructors, database-converted materials, physical textbooks, and video lectures. This is expected to link with the AI-based 'Student Management Service' (scheduled for release in the second half of the year) to provide educational solutions optimized for individual students, including learning achievement diagnostics, customized assignment generation, and automatic grading.
Additionally, Postmath has innovated the existing human-centered explanation creation method through its AI-based 'automatic explanation generation feature.' By combining its proprietary database with LLM technology, it automatically generates high-quality explanations without mathematical errors, effectively achieving both labor cost reduction and service quality improvement.
CEO Choi Jun-ho stated his strong ambition, saying, "Based on four years of accumulated AI technology and a 2 million-item database, we will contribute to resolving educational inequality and continue sustainable growth." He added, "Along with achieving our annual sales target, we will actively pursue overseas expansion to build a global educational ecosystem."
