OpsNow, a company specializing in AI-based multi-cloud management platforms, has officially launched its specialized cloud cost optimization solution, ‘OpsNow FinOps Plus,’ in the Korean market. This solution, which was first introduced and has been operating in the US last year, is also set to launch in Japan following its release in Korea.
Today, companies operating in complex multi-cloud and SaaS environments are urgently demanding systematic management capabilities that can drive strategic technology investments, going beyond simple cost control. In line with this, the FinOps Foundation, a global non-profit organization, recently announced its 2025 FinOps Framework, emphasizing the establishment of actionable strategies that create business value from all technology expenditures, including cloud, SaaS, data centers, and AI, as a core objective.
OpsNow FinOps Plus is a solution equipped with a more advanced structure and practical features, built upon OpsNow360's extensive FinOps operational experience. Aligning with global FinOps trends, it automates the entire process from budget planning, anomaly cost detection, policy-based governance, to the derivation of savings insights, thereby realizing execution-driven FinOps. With easy onboarding, it provides a consistent workflow from budget planning to savings and performance analysis, enabling precise cost prediction and control without manual effort, while simultaneously achieving strategic asset allocation and improved financial performance.
Specifically, through its ‘Tag Manager,’ which consistently applies and manages tags to cloud resources, costs are precisely classified and identified by service, team, and project. Furthermore, key features emphasized in the latest FinOps Framework have been significantly enhanced, including ‘Budgets’ which assists with team/organizational unit budget setting and real-time cost comparison/forecasting, ‘FinOps KPI’ which supports precise cost analysis from the perspective of responsible departments, and ‘Policy Management’ which automatically detects policy violations based on predefined rules and provides reports.
Moreover, OpsNow FinOps Plus users can also leverage the automatic cost optimization service, ‘AutoSavings.’ AutoSavings is a feature where AI analyzes usage patterns in AWS and Azure environments and automatically executes appropriate cost-saving strategies (e.g., reserved instances). This eliminates the need for human intervention to manually analyze complex agreements or determine optimal timing. It maintains long-term cost efficiency based on a recurring, not one-time, savings structure, and can be adopted without risk as performance-based fees are only charged when savings occur.
