Neugeum Lab Launches Korean Precision Nutrition AI
You no longer need to struggle with diet management due to complex health conditions. The AI-powered precision nutrition solution 'NUSEUM DOCENT' will become your health companion. Nuseum Lab officially launched its presence in the domestic market by unveiling the innovative Korean version MVP of 'NUSEUM DOCENT' at the '2025 Korean Nutrition Society International Conference' on October 31st. CEO Kim Ji-young captivated the audience by introducing 'a technology that redefines food choices as 'therapeutic interventions' by integrating and analyzing all of an individual's health information, including medication, allergies, and chronic diseases.' NUSEUM DOCENT provides a one-stop service, offering personalized dietary management advice, customized food recommendations, delivery menu suggestions, and convenient shopping lists, all by simply entering health information in just one minute. In particular, the Korean version is linked with major domestic e-commerce platforms like Coupang and Market Kurly, adding practical convenience. Furthermore, it also includes a smart feature that evaluates the health suitability of food when a picture is uploaded, and even suggests improvement comments. Nuseum Lab's AI, based on a Small Language Model (SLM) trained on international health guidelines from WHO, Lancet, and the latest food and medical data, proposes precise personalized diets using only date of birth, gender, medication information, and health goals, without the need for genetic testing or wearables. Nuseum Lab, which has already proven its global capabilities by gaining attention at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 in the US and the 500 Global Founder’s Retreat, presents a vision to lead healthy eating habits for people worldwide, beyond the domestic market. While exploring industry-academia cooperation with the Korean Nutrition Society and linkages with public policies, CEO Kim Ji-young expressed her ambition: "We will become a science-based practical tool for countless individuals who need accurate dietary recommendations, and thus fully embark on global expansion."
