3D AI startup Ndotlight has been officially recognized for its technological prowess by being named among the final 5 finalists in the 'NVIDIA Inception Startup Grand Challenge 2025,' hosted by NVIDIA. After fierce competition, including preliminaries with over 80 participating teams and live pitching by 15 companies, Ndotlight received the highest scores in multifaceted evaluations covering product/technology innovation, business model feasibility, team capability, market competitiveness, and presentation performance.
Ndotlight's success stems from its presentation of an innovative solution to a core challenge in 'Physical AI and Robotics' – the issue of 3D data acquisition – which NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang emphasized in his GTC 2025 keynote speech. Currently, physical AI learning is limited by mesh-based monolithic data, making it reliant on teleoperation methods.
Ndotlight addresses this challenge with its self-developed 'Trinix' technology. Trinix generates structured and articulated 3D data, enabling robots to learn all necessary actions in a simulation environment identical to reality. Notably, by inputting text and images, AI 3D CAD data is generated, offering groundbreaking efficiency that can reduce development time and costs by up to 80%.
Jinyeong Park, CEO of Ndotlight, stated, "This selection as a finalist signifies official recognition of Ndotlight's technology by NVIDIA," and expressed ambitions to "play a crucial role as a key 3D data supply partner in the Physical AI sector, which NVIDIA is leading."
The five finally selected startups will showcase their technologies at 'NVIDIA AI DAY Seoul' on November 17, held in conjunction with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. They will also receive special benefits, including opportunities to participate in NVIDIA developer events, such as GTC 2026, and an official NVIDIA certificate. Notably, Suntae Kim, CTO of Ndotlight, will deliver a lecture in a technical session on the day of the event, sharing Ndotlight's unique technological expertise.
