Naver Cloud Launches Naverworks AI Studio, a Custom AI Assistant Development Platform

Naver Cloud has ushered in an era of user-customized AI assistants for its collaboration tool, Naver Works. The newly launched 'Naver Works AI Studio' is an innovative tool that allows anyone to easily create AI assistants utilizing internal company data, such as internal messages or bulletin boards, without professional coding knowledge. Through this studio, employees can implement various AI assistants optimized for their respective work environments, such as functions that instantly find necessary information from internal messenger records, summarization features that help draft weekly reports, and even analytical tools that recommend lunch menus or support communication with colleagues. Its biggest feature is that it operates based on internal company data, contributing to a tangible improvement in work efficiency. Naver Works' existing AI features have also been significantly enhanced. Beyond draft generation and style transformation, the mail service now includes sentence improvement, schedule recommendation, and reply suggestion features, aiding in smarter email composition. The Drive service automatically summarizes uploaded file content and even supports translation into English, Japanese, Chinese, and other languages, elevating document productivity to the next level. Naver Cloud is evolving Naver Works beyond a simple collaboration tool into an intelligent platform that maximizes work productivity by continuously integrating AI technology. The previous introduction of ClovaNote for businesses, which was well-received for shortening meeting minute transcription times, is a prime example of this. Kyung Sung-min, Head of Product Strategy at Naver Cloud, stated, "We will support the flexible utilization of AI to suit different work environments for each company, and will consistently introduce features that lead to positive changes in work methods." Recognizing these innovative capabilities, Naver Works was selected as an AI collaboration tool for the intelligent work management platform pilot service being conducted by government ministries such as the Ministry of Interior and Safety and the Ministry of Science and ICT since late November, achieving the feat of beginning service provision within the administrative network. Naver Works is now presenting a new work paradigm with AI companions that embody the unique characteristics of each company.
