Revolutionary news to thrill K-pop fans! Cleon, a real-time interactive digital human company, has partnered with LG Uplus and SM Entertainment to unveil the interactive digital human of virtual artist 'nævis' for the first time at 'MWC 2025'. This remarkable collaborative project is set to be revealed at the LG Uplus exhibition booth during the upcoming 'MWC 2025', the world's largest mobile exhibition, held in Barcelona, Spain, in March 2025. This project is the result of the combined capabilities of leading companies in each sector. LG Uplus led the planning and design of the digital human exhibition and provided its telecommunications infrastructure and AI service capabilities, while SM Entertainment was responsible for 'nævis'' exclusive IP and content. The core factor that brought all of this to reality was Cleon's technology. Based on its unparalleled technology, Cleon has perfectly recreated not only nævis's external features but also her voice and unique personality. Fans can now naturally communicate with nævis in real-time, experiencing a conversation as if with a real artist. This is considered the culmination of Cleon's four key technological strengths. Industry-leading 4K content quality, ultra-low latency response times of less than 2 seconds, a lightweight model operable in a standard mobile environment, and prompt engineering technology that perfectly captures the character's personality and worldview are setting new standards in the digital human industry and receiving high praise. At the MWC 2025 LG Uplus booth, the nævis digital human, implemented at a life-size (1:1 ratio), will interact with visitors in real-time through a three-dimensional display and vividly introduce LG Uplus's latest AI services. Jin Seung-hyuk, CEO of Cleon, stated that this project will be 'a landmark leading the future of the digital human industry,' and expressed his intention to expand global business using K-pop IP through partnerships with SM Entertainment and LG Uplus. Park Jun-young, CCO of SM Entertainment, also expressed, 'It is significant to unveil the digital human of SM's first virtual artist, nævis, at MWC,' and conveyed his anticipation for collaboration with LG Uplus's AI model, 'iXigent'. This collaboration demonstrates a perfect convergence of technology, entertainment, and telecommunications, and is expected to unlock new possibilities for K-content and digital technology in the global market.
