Nabipra Wins CES 2026 Innovation Award for Vision-based Docking Solution 'Navidock'
Navifra, a leader in autonomous mobile robot solutions, has once again proven its technological leadership by being honored with a CES 2026 Innovation Award in the Robot Automation category for its next-generation docking technology, 'NaviDock'. NaviDock is a vision-based, markerless docking system that boldly overcomes the limitations of existing robot docking methods. It accurately recognizes the docking environment and precisely docks robots using only vision information, without the need for complex QR code attachments, reflector installations, or tedious repetitive teaching processes. Navifra explained that this groundbreaking approach received high praise for significantly reducing the burden of infrastructure construction and maximizing operational efficiency. Installation also adopts an intuitive Plug & Play method, allowing it to be immediately applied on-site within a short time after connecting the power. This enables immediate productivity improvement without complex installation procedures. Technically, by applying 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DoF) pose estimation technology, it boasts unparalleled precision even in repetitive docking environments. Navifra's own test results recorded positional accuracy within ±5mm and angular accuracy of ±0.5°, proving its stable performance. Another strength of NaviDock is its excellent versatility. Designed not to be dependent on specific manufacturers, it can be flexibly applied to various types of logistics robots, from small AMRs to medium and large AMRs, and even Autonomous Forklifts (AFLs). This signifies that it is an optimized solution for future operating environments where multiple types of robots share the same docking port. Park Joong-tae, CEO of Navifra, emphasized through this award that "vision-based docking technology will fundamentally alleviate the burden of on-site infrastructure construction and raise the automation level of various industrial sites by one step." He also stated, "Starting from CES 2026, we plan to accelerate the global expansion of NaviDock." During the CES 2026 exhibition, Navifra plans to directly showcase NaviDock, actively seek collaboration opportunities with partners and customers worldwide, and open new horizons in the robot automation market.
