MP-Age Launches AI Music Education App 'My Music Five'
Music tech company MPAGE has opened a new chapter in music learning by officially launching its AI-based music education app 'mymusic5'. The core is an innovative technology that recognizes a performer's sound in real time and automatically turns sheet music pages. MPAGE confirmed a strong initial response by securing over 1,000 users in just three days since 'mymusic5' was released on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on the 11th. This reflects high expectations for the AI auto-page-turning function, which eliminates the inconvenience of manually turning sheet music pages while playing and helps users fully immerse themselves in their performance. When playing instruments like the piano, the AI accurately detects notes and automatically switches sheet music pages according to the playing speed. 'mymusic5' also offers various educational features for systematic practice. From practice modes for left hand, right hand, and both hands, to preview playback, it helps users efficiently improve their skills. A particular strength is its linkage with MPAGE's global digital sheet music platform, allowing access to a vast library of over 300,000 sheet music pieces categorized by difficulty. Furthermore, it includes a short-form video community feature where users can share their performance videos and interact, creating a space for learning and exchange. Behind this technological prowess lies the continuous efforts of the MPAGE Corporate Research Institute. It has independently developed proprietary AI music recognition technology that analyzes pitch, duration, and dynamics in real time and accurately identifies musical notes through sound melodies. The company plans to gradually update AI music learning features to optimize user experience and further advance its service. Jeong In-seo, CEO of MPAGE, stated his ambition, saying, "The latest AI technology will transform the way people learn and enjoy music into a completely new experience," and "Based on world-class instrument sound recognition technology, we will establish ourselves as a leading service beloved by musicians worldwide." Currently, MPAGE is a global company with over 10,000 creators and 4 million members worldwide, and its technological prowess and growth potential have been recognized through its selection for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Post-TIPS' program and industry-academia cooperation with KAIST.
