Home service platform Miso is strengthening its appliance cleaning service lineup to meet the elevated standards of modern consumers who prioritize hygiene and health. In addition to existing air conditioner, washing machine, and mattress cleaning, Miso is now introducing a total of four new services – refrigerator, dryer, kitchen hood, and air purifier cleaning – providing comprehensive solutions for managing essential household appliances.
This service expansion goes beyond simple cleanliness maintenance. It stems from the judgment that professional management is essential, as mold, bacteria, and fine dust, which easily accumulate inside daily-used appliances, can not only degrade performance but also threaten family health. In particular, food contamination in refrigerators, dust residue inside dryers, and grease stains on kitchen hoods are difficult to remove completely without the touch of an expert.
Considering the specialized nature of appliance cleaning, Miso provides services that require complex disassembly and precise cleaning, beyond simple external cleaning, through professional partners who have completed systematic training. To ensure customers can use the services with peace of mind, Miso has subscribed to DB Insurance's business liability insurance to prepare for any potential accidents during the service, establishing a comprehensive compensation system for fire, property damage, injury, and more.
Victor Ching, CEO of Miso, emphasized, “We have consistently expanded our home service areas and subdivided categories to keep pace with rapidly changing consumer needs,” adding, “These new cleaning services will meet customers' diverse hygiene management demands, and we will continue to broaden our service scope in the future.”
The newly introduced appliance cleaning services are currently available in most areas of Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi, and are expected to expand to a nationwide service in the near future.
Starting as a domestic helper service in 2015, Miso has grown into a veritable leading platform, encompassing over 200 diverse home service areas, with cumulative transaction value exceeding 1.5 trillion KRW and over 10 million orders. In August, it further solidified its position as a comprehensive home service company responsible for overall convenience in customers' lives by expanding its business into automotive services, including vehicle maintenance and external repairs.
