**Title: Satellite Imagery Smart Construction Beyond Drone Limitations, Maisha Successfully Establishes Itself in Japanese Market… Signs Supply Contract with Takenaka Corporation** Maisha, an AI-based geospatial information technology company, has successfully established its satellite imagery-based smart construction solution as a new alternative for construction sites where drone operation is restricted, in the Japanese market. The signing of a supply contract with Takenaka Corporation (竹中工務店), one of Japan's top five general contractors, is expected to be a significant milestone proving the competitiveness of Maisha's innovative technology on the global stage. While Takenaka Corporation was seeking solutions for on-site monitoring problems at sites where drone flights are difficult, such as near airports, it decided to pilot Maisha's platform, which can utilize high-resolution satellite imagery without drones. Maisha's solution secures periodic time-series satellite imagery without separate flight approvals or expensive equipment installation, enabling remote monitoring, efficient communication, and integrated safety management. This is attracting attention as a realistic alternative that overcomes the limitations of existing drone-based monitoring methods. In particular, Takenaka Corporation showed great interest in Maisha's advanced analytical functions, such as AI-based object detection, material and equipment counting, and InSAR-based ground subsidence analysis. They plan to strengthen cooperation through further discussions regarding the future expansion of technological application. The background of this entry into the Japanese market lies in Maisha's already successfully proven precedent in Korea. In 2023, Maisha achieved great success by applying its satellite imagery-based smart construction solution for the first time in Korea to the 'LH Bucheon Daejang Public Housing District Construction Site (Contractor: Dongbu Corporation)'. At that time, even in the challenging environment of a flight restricted area near an airport, it provided integrated functions for process monitoring, communication, and safety management, presenting a new paradigm for remote site management. Kim Young-hoon, Vice President and CBO of Maisha, stated, "Satellite imagery-based site management solutions are the most realistic alternative for effectively managing sites even in environments where drone operation is difficult," and emphasized, "This contract with Takenaka Corporation is an important opportunity to prove that Maisha's remote monitoring and analysis technology can provide tangible value in the global construction market." Maisha has recently been accelerating its penetration into the Japanese market, signing consecutive contracts with leading Japanese construction companies such as Takenaka Corporation, following Obayashi Corporation. Furthermore, by continuing active steps such as signing a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KDDI, a major Japanese telecommunications company, it is clearly demonstrating that satellite imagery technology, replacing drones, is emerging as a core driver of global smart construction.
