Ably's '4910', which has emerged as a new powerhouse in the men's fashion market, has established itself as a style hub for MZ generation men and recorded explosive growth.
According to data from the app and retail analysis service WiseApp Retail Goods, the number of 4910 users in their 20s and 30s in March this year surged by more than 8.5 times (759%) compared to the previous year, demonstrating rapid growth. Notably, users in their 20s accounted for the largest proportion, leading the trend. The fact that 4910 ranked first in new installations among all men's fashion platforms in the first quarter (January-March) of this year is an indicator of how quickly it has settled into the market. In March alone, the number of new installations soared by more than 7.6 times (667%) compared to the previous year, signaling the start of the spring shopping season.
Transaction performance is also dazzling. In March, transaction volume from customers in their 20s and 30s soared by more than 5 times (410%) compared to the same period last year, with both the number of orders (477%) and the number of buyers (374%) recording triple-digit growth. Short-sleeved T-shirt transaction volume surged by more than 6 times (512%), and Adidas sneakers by more than 15 times (1,452%), driving popular items for the spring season. The 'Island Modern' short-sleeved T-shirt grew by an astounding more than 300 times (30,370%), showcasing its unique popularity.
4910, which launched its beta service in June last year and officially launched in March this year, embodies the ambition to cover a wide range of men's tastes, from "ages 10 to 49." According to Mobile Index data, among apps with over 1 million new annual installations in 2024, it ranked first in user growth rate (MAU), solidifying its position as the second-largest men's fashion app.
At the heart of this rapid growth is Ably's self-developed 'AI personalized recommendation technology'. By providing hyper-personalized shopping experiences tailored to segmented men's fashion tastes such as gorpcore, grunge look, and Amekaji, it has garnered high satisfaction. Furthermore, the establishment of specialized sections optimized for customer interests, including soccer, running, fitness, and plus sizes, also played a crucial role in maximizing shopping convenience.
A 4910 official stated, "As a platform equipped with the trifecta of technology, products, and convenience, it has quickly captivated all men in their 20s and 30s, from online fashion shopping beginners to highly engaged targets." The official added that 4910 plans to further solidify its position as a 'fashion hub' where everyone can easily and enjoyably discover their own style.
