Live Anywhere Wins Grand Prize at Urban and Regional Innovation Expo

## Live Anywhere Recognized for Contributing to Regional Revitalization by Winning Grand Prize at '2025 Urban and Regional Innovation Industry Expo' Short-term rental accommodation booking platform Live Anywhere was honored with the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Governor's Award, having won the Grand Prize in the regional revitalization category of the Urban and Regional Innovation Grand Prize at the '2025 Korea Urban and Regional Innovation Industry Expo'. This recognition stems from its highly acclaimed contribution to the region by addressing the short-term housing needs of metropolitan area customers and increasing the local residential population. In particular, Live Anywhere was recognized for providing short-term housing services to metropolitan residents and significantly contributing to the increase in people staying for a week or more in rural areas. The platform, which began operations in December 2020, offers accommodation booking services for metropolitan residents and 'workation' users, contributing to the revitalization of stay-type tourism and the growth of residential populations in various provincial cities nationwide, including Gangwon-do. Live Anywhere is demonstrating rapid growth. As of the first half of this year, it recorded a semi-annual transaction volume of 15 billion KRW, and as of July, it has secured over 15,000 accommodations. CEO Jung Kyu-ho stated, "Transactions for 'one-month living' purposes, which were active in tourist regions such as Gangwon-do, were a key growth driver for Live Anywhere. This award recognizes our achievement in simultaneously supporting two goals: the lifestyle needs of metropolitan customers and the expansion of stay-type residential populations in rural areas." Meanwhile, this expo was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, Samcheok City, and the Urban Regeneration Industry Promotion Association (a corporation). It is a nationwide event held annually since 2019, and this year marked its first time being held in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.
