Lattice, which operates the AI-based contract management SaaS 'Freaks', has announced a major expansion of its service, transforming it from a traditional Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) into a modular document-specialized business OS. This is a strategic decision that reflects a strong demand to systematically manage various document types within companies and connect them to the execution stage, aligning with the global SaaS market trend of shifting from single-function services to integrated platforms.
The core of the newly introduced Freaks Business OS lies in its 'modular configuration'. Companies can now efficiently manage unstructured data by selecting only the functions they need, without complex system build-out processes, and flexibly connect them to existing business processes. Furthermore, customized configuration features tailored to specialized work environments for each industry are expected to provide practical benefits such as reduced build-out and maintenance costs.
Interoperability with existing systems has also been significantly enhanced. Through seamless integration with various solutions already used by companies, such as groupware, ERP (SAP), and Google Drive, all processes including document creation, approval, and history tracking can be handled within a single integrated environment, Freaks, while maintaining existing authorization systems and workflows.
A particularly noteworthy feature is the 'automatic document change log'. This fundamentally resolves the difficulty of history tracking that commonly occurred during sharing via Word files or messengers. From the document creation stage, approval history and all changes are automatically saved, dramatically increasing management transparency.
Kang Sang-won, CEO of Lattice, stated his ambition, saying, "We are advancing our service to automate and standardize complex document management and history tracking for businesses," and "We will maximize operational efficiency through modular configuration and system integration."
Meanwhile, Lattice, established in 2023, is consistently growing, attracting market attention with its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) increasing by approximately 30% quarter-over-quarter and its customer base growing by about 28% in the third quarter of this year. With this expansion, Freaks is expected to play a key role in innovating the enterprise document management paradigm and elevating work efficiency to the next level.
